i’m back in the san jose hotel with the computer in the lobby woooooo!

my costa rican bird count is up to 83 i think? it would be a lot higher if i wasnt on a school tour group and was able to go where i pleased, but i can’t complain! we didnt even spend too much time in monteverde, which was upsetting, but i saw a trogon so all was well. no quetzal though. seeing a quetzal was wishful thinking though, it would have been a really lucky find.

i can elaborate more when i get home sunday night! by monday i should have my pictures uploaded and everything, so be on the lookout!

greetings from costa rica!

i know i haven’t been doing a very good job maintaining this blog lately (anime blogs are a lot of work too omg), but a few of you long-time followers may remember me mentioning my trip to costa rica.. saaaaay a few months ago? well i’m finally here! we arrived in san jose just about two hours ago. we have nothing planned for tonight so i’m using this time to study up on some of the local bird species i can expect to see in the next ten days. luckily my friend’s brother, who is also a birder, is in costa rica right now as well, so he sent me a huge list of species to familiarize myself with, so that’s what i’m up to!

there’s no doubt you should be expecting a photo spam when i get back on april 7th. until then, i might say a word or two about what we’ve done in the day, if i can find a computer at some of the other hotels we’re at.
