A baby owl is kept looking spruce thanks to her friend Sophie the spaniel, who licks her clean every day. The pair have become inseparable since Bramble, the baby eagle owl, was taken in at a bird of prey centre. [x]

“Baby barn owls. I found them in an old pump shed that was supposed to be disconnected so the hissing sound coming from there was really weird. It would go on and off at night and sounded like water moving through the pipes. During the day, everything looked shut off and there were no noises. The next night I figured out what was making the noise.”
